The place where Moses (PBUH) was chosen as God's Messenger is known as the “Aiman Wadi” in Persian poetry. However, there is no such a phrase as 'Aiman Wadi' in the Qur'ran and it is a neologism in the Persian literature, created poetically from the syntagmatic relations between the two Arabic words Wadi and Aiman in Surah Al-Qasas, Aya 30. The present study attempts to point out literary-mystical effects of the phrase "Aiman Wadi" after an etymological analysis of it in the Holy Qur'an and the relevant exegeses. The event happened at the night of Moses's first revelation in "Aiman Wadi" including the Fire as Divine Manifestation, Moses's being addressed by God by 'verily I am Allah', putting off the shoes (in God's presence) and the casting down of rod are all backgrounds for wayfaring and are discussed in this article.
